UMass-ish Drumline Cadence: Editable Sibelius File

A simple, easy cadence for your high school drumline, based on the world-famous UMass Drumline Cadence.

UMass-ish is a simplified, high school friendly take on the 2009 UMass cadence.

It keeps the recognizable moments, including Exercise 8, Double Beat, Check Patterns, and the essential Monkey Beats, but the writing is rebuilt to be far more playable.

The goal is simple: teach real rudimental control, timing, and performance habits without overwhelming younger lines.

It sits on the harder side for high school, but nowhere near the difficulty of the original.

The Sibelius file is fully editable: change stickings, add splits, adjust tenor writing & bass sequences, or tweak dynamics to fit your group.
